    Installation process

At SWGTN, we believe that creating beautiful turf scapes is an art form, and we take pride in mastering it. Here we will walk you through the installation process. From the initial design, through the dirt & gravel base, and finally the turf & infill installation.

    design

After meeting you, scoping out your project, and laying out your budget and goals, you will receive a drawing like this accompanying your estimate. We will work with you to adjust the size, shape, drainage, and undulations until we have designed exactly what you want.

    02

    ground prep

Not all projects require major dirt prep work. Some may need a simple scalping of the grass. Others may need sod cut out. And some, like this project, need major dirt work prior to building the gravel base.

    03

    Gravel base

This step is where the shape of your lawn or green really starts to come together. The base typically consists of two layers of gravel. The first is crusher run. Think of this like the foundation of your house. Next, is #10 screenings. This is where we will fine tune your undulations and make your lawn or green buttery smooth for years to come.

    04

    turf installation

This is where your lawn or green finally turns.. GREEN! We will layout your turf panels doing our best to minimize seams, final cut all of the edges and seams, glue the seams, and finally install the turf infill to factory spec. We use only 100% silica sand infill for our turf. No dirty rubber infill here!
